We’ve lost a lot of our favorite celebrity crushes this year to either marriage or engagement, but now it sounds like we’re getting one back as reports say Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon are heading towards a divorce.
“There is trouble in paradise,” Cannon, 33, told The Insider of his marriage to the Grammy-winning pop diva. “We have been living in separate houses for a few months.”
Indeed, one source told Us that the high-profile couple — parents to twins Monroe and Moroccan, 3 — have been apart since June. “It has been shaky for a while, but it all came to a head recently,” the source said.
Hard to believe, but then again Mariah Carey had to use pictures of herself wearing a candy bra on Valentine’s Day and post a photo of herself in a bra on Cannon’s birthday to get his attention so maybe we should have seen this coming.
