In an effort to, well, I don’t know what, MTV tabbed Miley Cryus to shoot a video promoting this year’s Video Music Awards. It’s got a few sexy parts, but mostly, as is the case for Miley lately, it’s just odd. (They do score bonus points for the use of The Beastie Boys’ music though.) As you will see in the promo Miley’s continuing quest to become the white Rihanna rolls on as she climbs down a sewer ladder in to a tunnel filled with fire-breathers and other odd creatures that totally exist in the sewers on her planet. And that’s about all the analysis I can manage. Catch the show on August 25th if you want. Looks like Miley will be there.
