ITT Tech was once a for-profit college empire, but now that the U.S. government has decided to stop providing them federal loans and grants totaling into the millions of dollars, the technical school is now closing all of its 100+ campuses. Not that you should be complaining – ITT Tech is known for basically stealing your money and then giving you a worthless sheet of paper in return. And don’t even think about transferring your credits to a more prestigious school, because ITT Tech credits aren’t accepted anywhere on account of their educational worth being zilch.
What does this mean for the 8,000 employees and 35,000 students at their campuses? Unfortunately we’ll have to wait to find out.
