You’ll see these “greatest of all-time” lists regularly and many times the author of the list will purposely make the list controversial so people start talking about it and debating it. A recent “50 Greatest Rappers of All-Time” list was so egregiously wrong that the internet had no choice but to ridicule it.

The Twitter account for The Brew Podcast, a podcast out of Cincinnati, Ohio, that discusses music, sports, news, politics, fashion, society, culture and business, came out swinging with this scalding hot take on the greatest rappers ever.

The Twitter account set Twitter aflame with their controversial list of best rappers and ignited heated debate on Monday morning.

Soon, the Twitter account with less than 300 followers was getting slammed for their outrageous greatest rappers list. And rightfully so.

They name Jay-Z as the greatest rapper of all-time, which is wrong, but you could make the case for that position based on commercial success. Nas was proclaimed the second-best rapper of all-time, definitely worthy of that honor and arguably the greatest rapper ever.

Then the list turns to complete and utter garbage juice at No. 3 — Joe Budden. What? Did Joe Budden make this list?

Even Joe Budden himself was shocked and tweeted out: “I ain’t make that list but i ain’t arguing against it lol.”

But the list continues to be off-the-mark. The fourth-best rapper is allegedly Styles P, Black Thought at five, Fabolous at six and Jadakiss at seven. Are you starting to understand why this is the most bullsh*t rap list ever?

Biggie Smalls doesn’t make the list until No. 8. Ghostface and Rakim (who should be top 3) round out the top 10. Tupac Shakur is ranked the 15th greatest rapper of all-time. Is this list trolling us all?

Drake is No. 23 on the preposterous list and Eminem is claimed to be the 28th best rapper. Eminem is #28, but Twista is #26 and Lupe Fiasco is #20.

Snoop Dogg doesn’t get any respect and is named the #34 and Lil Wayne is all the way down at #37. More garbage rankings.

Noticeably missing from the greatest rappers of all-time list is KRS-One, Kanye West, Lil Kim, Nicki Minaj, Dr Dre, Tech N9ne, Mac Miller, Eazy-E, Ludacris, ASAP Rocky, Big Sean, Lauryn Hill, Chuck D, Slick Rick, Ice-T, Big Daddy Kane, GZA, Q-Tip, Kool Moe Dee, Talib Kweli, MC Lyte and Nelly.

This list is trash.

Joe Budden does believe that he is a better rapper than Eminem. Budden said Eminem’s song Untouchable as “trash.”

In September of last year, Budden went after Eminem on his podcast. On episode 177 of The Joe Budden Podcast, Budden trashed the 8 Mile rapper.

“I heard the album and because I don’t think you know all the members that were in the group, I don’t really think you know our history,” he said. “Let me tell you what Joe Budden has thought this entire time. I’ve been better than you this entire fucking decade!”

Sorry Joe Budden, you’re not better than Eminem and you’re not the third-greatest rapper of all-time.
