Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour made its way to the New York City/New Jersey area during Memorial Day Weekend with a three-night stop at Metlife Stadium, the home of the Giants and the Jets.
In attendance for two of the shows was newly acquired Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who had an “incredible” time at the concerts, which he took in with his buddy Miles Teller.
Taking to Instagram on Memorial Day, Rodgers recapped the weekend and claimed that Swift is a “master entertainer and spectacular human.” Also pictured in Rodgers’ Instagram slideshow is Top Gun: Maverick star Miles Teller and his wife Keleigh.
“Incredible weekend at my new home with some special friends Miles and Keleigh Teller, a bunch of new ones, and the legendary Taylor Swift, who absolutely rocked the house for 3 1/2 hours each night!!!” Rodgers wrote on Instagram.
“She is truly a master entertainer and epic human, and Phoebe Bridgers was spectacular as well. Thanks to the great security folks, the sweet fans that I met, and all the hospitality from the Tour both nights. Hopefully we can make MetLife that loud this year. Come check us out.”
Many of the comments on Rodgers’ post seemed to point out how happy the four-time NFL MVP seems to look these days now that he’s out of Green Bay and with the Jets.
“Look at how happy this dude is now,” wrote one commenter.
“Dude is looking great though,” commented another. “Maybe it was just Green Bay.”
“Aaron finally looks happy again,” said an apparent Packers fan.
Keleigh Teller also shared some content from the show, including a backstage photo with Taylor.
As Rodgers mentioned in his post, Metlife Stadium will be his home for the next season or two. His first game as a member of the Jets at Metlife will be a Monday Night Football matchup against the Buffalo Bills on Monday, September 11.
