TikToker Throws Adam Sandler Theme Party And It’s My New Favorite Theme Party Idea

via TikTok

The Adam Sandler cinematic universe is a vast one. Just think of all the characters that popped up in Netflix’s Hubie Halloween – a somewhat cringy movie in itself but a wonderful tribute to Sandler’s creativity and cultural contribution.

Personally, as a Sandler stan, I love the idea of an Adam Sandler cinematic universe that just keeps going and going and going. I’m glad he floated the idea a while back and I hope Happy Madison make it happen.

Because why should cinematic universes just be reserved for comic book characters or sci-fi franchises?

But anyway, just using this blog post to pay respect to an idea going viral on TikTok.

Introducing…

The Adam Sandler theme party

TikToker @deadgoregousssss took Adam Sandler tributes to a whole new level.

She hosted an Adam Sandler theme party, with friends dressing up as their favorite Sandler universe characters from over the years. It wasn’t just limited to Sandler characters, either.

  • Lil Nicky from Lil Nicky
  • Stoner Bongo Player from Hot Chick
  • Ula from 51st Dates
  • Vicki Vallencourt from The Waterboy (“mama said she’s the devil!”)
  • Bobby Boucher from The Waterboy
  • Mama from The Waterboy
  • Julia from Wedding Singer

These are some deep cuts, character wise! Kudos!

There’s soooo many characters you could add to this concept. Top of mind, Happy Gilmore himself and all the Rob Schneider / Steve Buscemi characters. Howard Ratner from Uncut Gems.

The list goes on and on.

Genius!

They even went all out with naming the booze with references from Sandler movies.

A couple of years ago, I dressed up as Bobby Boucher from The Waterboy on Halloween for a Phish show in Las Vegas. It was pretty simple to put together and I was blown away by how well-received it was. I was standing in a beer line after the Kasvot Växt set and a couple people gave the “you can do it!”

It was such a fun night.

Maybe it’s time to expand the concept and go as a full Sandler-inspired crew for Halloween this year?

If anyone reading this does this, just remember where you got the idea!
