The Airbus A350 is a wide-body commercial jet airliner that seats 325 passengers. The purpose of the jetliner is to transport travelers from point A to point B safely and efficiently. But this aircraft shows that it can make near-vertical takeoffs like it was a military jet evading RPG fire from enemies on the ground.
Airbus’ second-ever A350-900XWB put on a marvelous demonstration of its aeronautical abilities at the 2018 Innovation and Leadership in Aerospace (ILA) Berlin Air Show a few weeks ago. Equipped with Rolls-Royce engines, pilots push this European airliner to its limits as it makes a near-vertical ascent. Hopefully any passengers in this scenario aren’t in the lavatory during takeoff because things could get messy.
