Alan Cumming said he doesn't understand the plot of 'Avengers: Doomsday'
Alan Cumming hasnāt been shy about his baffling experience filmingĀ Avengers: Doomsday. The popular Nightcrawler actor and Traitors host recently admitted he basically has no idea what they filmed.
Cumming, who is reprising the role of Nightcrawler for the first time since 2003ās X2, admitted on SiriusXM that Marvel kept him almost entirely in the dark about what he was actually filming.

āTo be honest, I donāt fully understand the plot,ā Cumming said, adding a crew member tried to talk him through a scene involving giant robots.
āThank you so much, but just tell me where I point my whatever I point, and Iāll go do that. I just know Iām here to run around,ā Cumming responded.
Cumming also detailed how he never actually filmed alongside Florence Pugh despite sharing scenes with her character.
āIāve never met you, but you lay on top of me, or your body double did,ā Cumming told her when they met at the Emmy Awards earlier this month.
āYeah, I lay on top of you as well, but it was your body double,ā Pugh apparently responded.
Avengers: Doomsday reunites Cumming with fellow X-Men veterans Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, James Marsden, and Rebecca Romijn when it hits theaters on December 18.
