2024 marks the 60th anniversary of the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue. The new digital version of the annual, according to Sports Illustrated, will not replace the print version, but be in addition to it.

The publication says the new digital version of the swimsuit issue will be “culturally timed” and include “in-depth storytelling from global talent.”
