Reality TV star Sophia Culpo dated Miami Dolphins wide receiver for 2 years before the couple split earlier this year. Berrios quickly moved on in Miami by dating Alix Earle but the timeline of that was muddled, with some accusing Alix/Braxton of cheating while Sophia was still in the picture.
Sophia Culpo has talked about this before. And for her part, Alix Earle is adamant that Braxton was not in a relationship when they first got together, something she reaffirmed this week on the Call Her Daddy podcast with Alex Cooper where they also discussed their bedroom skills in a game of ‘Truth or Drink.’
Sophia Culpo Used A Spy To Catch Braxton Berrios Cheating
Without naming names, Sophia led on that she used a spy in the New York Jets locker room to catch Braxton Berrios. On her sister’s Barely Filtered podcast, Sophia said “Someone we know was doing some digging for me around the team and that was how I got confirmation that this wasn’t the first girl also.”
She went on to say “[Braxton] was like, ‘ladies don’t have to know about tonight,’ and this teammate was like, ‘I’m single, so, it’s fine.’ [Braxton] goes, ‘Oh, well I’m having fun tonight.'”
That isn’t exactly a ‘case closed’ admission of cheating. It could be interpreted as locker room talk, but it also doesn’t look good at all for a guy to be saying that while he’s in a relationship. The natural way to interpret is “I’m cheating tonight” if you are not looking to give someone the benefit of the doubt.
Sophia Culpo also discussed finding out that Braxton had cheated on her from a 6 AM phone call from her sister after the Super Bowl.

Technically, first I found out from Olivia because she was there [in Arizona for a Super Bowl party]. She calls me and she’s like ‘I’m so sorry I want you to hear this from me, he’s cheating on you,’” Culpo said.
“I just remember my stomach drops. I want to throw up … and then I call him and I go, ‘Was there anything you want to tell me?’ I never heard this tone in his voice, [and he said], ‘No.’
“We had a long conversation and one of the last things I will never forget him saying to me was: ‘I wouldn’t go forward with that story because that’s not how I remember it.’”
Sophia also said she reached out to Alix Earle to clear the air. She said it felt like the narrative was a ‘girl vs girl’ argument when Sophia Culpo was only angry at Braxton Berrios, not Earle.
