Andrew Tate’s time in Florida was short-lived. Last week, Andrew and his brother Tristan traveled to Florida after the Trump administration lobbied the Romanian government to allow them to leave the country while they were being investigated for sex trafficking.
Immediately after they arrived in Florida, Governor Ron DeSantis held a press conference to inform the Tate brothers that they weren’t welcome in his state.
“Florida is not a place where you’re welcome with that type of conduct. Our Attorney General, James Uthmeier, is looking into what state hooks and jurisdictions we have to deal with this. I don’t know how it came to this. We were not involved. We were not notified. I found out through the media.”

On Wednesday, Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier revealed that he planned to aggressively execute search warrants and issue subpoenas after opening a criminal investigation into the Tate brothers.
“Last week, I directed my office to work with our law enforcement partners to conduct a preliminary inquiry into Andrew and Tristan Tate.”
“Based on a thorough review of the evidence, I’ve directed the Office of Statewide Prosecution to execute search warrants and issue subpoenas in the now-active criminal investigation into the Tate brothers.
A day after Uthmeir’s comments, Andrew revealed he was leaving Florida and returning to Romania.
Thank you Florida, you were very welcoming.
See you in a few years <3

Before leaving the United States, Tate lashed out over the treatment he received in Florida.
“Absolute communism. I’ve been in America for 5 days. I sat on my laptop and did a podcast. Insanity. I am super disappointed in the United States.”
“This isn’t the America I know. This is a sad sad day for America. Trying to find crimes on an innocent man. I’m not afraid.I’m genuinely just disappointed.”
