The woman you see in the picture above is Academy Award-winning actress Anne Hathaway, photographed at the Cannes Film Festival in May 2022 at the premiere of her film Armageddon Time.

By any reasonable metric or standard, Hathaway — who has been starring in movies for over 20 years now — is among the 99th percentile when it comes to the attractiveness of a human being.

According to Hollywood executives who crossed paths with her at the start of her career, however, Hathaway had “zero sex appeal.”

Hathaway, who made her breakthrough in 2001 with the Disney film The Princess Diaries, didn’t take long to prove that she had sex appeal, particularly with her 2005 film Havoc and her 2010 film Love & Other Drugs.

In 2012, Hathaway played Selina Kyle/Catwoman in Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises, a character largely defined by her sexuality.

In addition to her attractiveness, Hathaway would also go on to prove that she’s one of the best actresses in the world as she won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her work in Les Misérables, which was also released in 2012.

Now 41 years old, Hathaway remains as busy as ever, having recently starred in films such as Eileen and She Came to Me.

This year, Hathaway will feature in Mothers’ Instinct and The Idea of You, and is also in production on projects such as Mother Mary and a film from It Follows director David Robert Mitchell.
