  • Fast food chain Arby’s announced this week they are debuting their first-ever hamburger, a Wagyu beef blend that’s apparently huge in size
  • People who were first to try the Arby’s burger are raving about it and others are already losing their minds over it

The fast food chain Arby’s has drilled their ‘we have the meats’ slogan into our heads for years. That slogan was famously created by the rapper Pusha T and the voice is actor Ving Rhames. And while Arby’s is famous for its roast beef they’re about to take things to the next level with an Arby’s Burger.

The Arby’s burger is apparently massive according to people who have already seen it and/or eaten it. And another thing that separates the Arby’s burger from the rest of the fast food world is it’s a blend of 52% American Wagyu beef and 48% ground beef, according to USA Today‘s Brett Molina who was one of the first people to try it.

After news of the Wagyu Arby’s burger hit the Internet, ‘Arby’s’ was actually the #1 trend on Google Trends and people on Twitter are already raving about it. I personally haven’t eaten Arby’s in years but my interest is piqued. Here’s what people are saying about this burger.

This guy’s all about the burger:

Does it?

So about this… The 52% American Wagyu and 48% ground beef burger is actually prepared via Sous Vide-style cooking which uses heated water to get the burger to the perfect internal temperature.

The Chief Marketing Officer for Arby’s, Patrick Schwing, said the company’s had the Arby’s Burger in development for TWO YEARS. And their goal was to craft a premium burger that “redefines what’s possible from a drive thru.”

I’m definitely interested in trying the Wagyu Arby’s burger. Why not? I rarely eat fast food and people are raving pretty hard about this one. If and when I get around to trying it I’ll report back here.
