In a headline you never expected to see, New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick has weighed in on the relationship between pop star Taylor Swift and Chiefs’ tight end, Travis Kelce.

The normally reserved Belichick made his comments during his weekly appearance on “The Greg Hill Show” on WEEI radio.

When asked about his thoughts on Taylor Swift joining Travis Kelce in a suite at Arrowhead Stadium, Belichick quipped, “Well, I would say that Travis Kelce has had a lot of big catches in his career. This would be the biggest.”

Swift’s presence at the game seems to have all but confirmed the swirling dating rumors between her and Kelce.

Notably, the pair were spotted leaving the stadium together after Kelce’s impressive performance, including a touchdown, in the Chiefs’ 41-10 victory over the Chicago Bears.

This is not the first time Bill Belichick has expressed admiration for Taylor Swift.

During Swift’s “Eras Tour” stop at Gillette Stadium over the summer, where she braved the rain to perform, Belichick had high praise for the pop superstar, stating, “That was pretty impressive. She’s tough, man. Just stood out there and played right through it.”

The question of whether Belichick considers himself a “Swiftie” remains unanswered, but it’s certainly feels surreal to hear him chime about her relationship with the NFL star.
