Blink-182 just announced their new album, ‘ONE MORE TIME’, with a single that will be released this week. They made the huge announcement with a teaser video for fans that is sure to spark nostalgia in anyone that grew up with Blink-182‘s iconic Pop Punk.

The new album, ONE MORE TIME, comes after the band finished their US Tour and have started playing European dates. They wrapped up their North American tour dates in July after 41 concerts since April. It has been a marathon of tour dates since Tom DeLonge rejoined Mark and Travis to get the triumvirate back together for the first time since 2015.

The band released a teaser video for ONE MORE TIME that features the band members talking about the past and recent history. They all appear particularly vulnerable and honest when talking about Travis Barker’s accident, Tom DeLonge leaving the band, Mark Hoppus’ cancer battle, and their enduring friendship over the years.

In the teaser, Tom DeLonge says “Coming out with these words, ‘One More Time,’ it’s like, ‘Hey, this is the last time we’re going to f— this up.” When speaking about the reason for releasing the album, Travis Barker said “On the album, ‘One More Time’ is written about ‘why does it take these catastrophes like me being in a plane crash or Mark being sick for our band to get back together.”

ONE MORE TIME will be the band’s 9th studio album. Their last studio album was released in 2019 and ‘Nine’ featured Matt Skiba of Alkaline Trio on vocals/guitar in place of Tom DeLonge. Skiba also played guitar/sang on ‘California’ which was released in 2016.

So this marks the first time since ‘Neighborhoods’ in 2011 that Tom DeLonge has been featured on a new Blink-182 studio album. ONE MORE TIME will be released on October 20th with the new single released this week at 10 AM on the east coast this Thursday, September 21st.:

Blink-182’s ‘World Tour’ will go hard through next Spring. I was fortunate to see them in Tampa earlier this Summer and they brought the absolute HEAT for their entire set. There are 24 dates in Europe, 16 in Oceania, and 12 in Latin America. Three of the dates in the UK had to be rescheduled to next September. The new album can be pre-ordered through Blink’s website.
