Bob Costas Just Saved A Man’s Life But Doesn’t Think It’s A Big Deal

Bob Costas is one of the greatest sportscasters in the history of the industry. He has won 29 Emmy Awards, 12 Sportscaster of the Year awards, and has racked up countless other accolades while calling some of the biggest sporting events in history. And he can now add ‘life saver’ to his resume.

According to Page Six, Bob Costas just saved a man’s life at a restaurant after performing the Heimlich maneuver on a diner who was choking:

The famed sports commentator recently performed the Heimlich maneuver on a diner at a restaurant — ultimately saving his life, Page Six can exclusively reveal. The patron, who was not seated with Costas, began to choke when the Emmy Award winner rushed to help him.

Bob doesn’t think this was that big of a deal,” a rep for the longtime NBC Sports personality tells us. “He really feels he did what just about anyone else would do in a similar situation. (via PageSix)
