One of the more active A-list actresses on social media, Academy Award-winning actress Brie Larson recently took to Instagram to share a selfie of herself in a low-cut yellow dress.

The ethereal set of photos, which were shared with her more than 7 million followers and were taken from Larson’s garden, are captioned “Sometimes you gotta change your fantasy and dance in the backyard.”

Earlier this year, Larson — who won an Oscar award for Best Actress for her work in 2015’s Room — was most recently seen starring in Fast X, having joined the franchise as a newcomer named Tess (the daughter of Kurt Russell’s character).

This fall, Larson will be leading the final Marvel Cinematic Universe film of the year when she stars in The Marvels alongside Iman Vellani, Teyonah Parris, Samuel L. Jackson, Zawe Ashton, Park Seo-joon, Randall Park, Lashana Lynch, and more.

It’s certainly been a busy year for the 33-year-old Larson, as she’ll also be starring in the upcoming AppleTV+ series Lessons in Chemistry.

Larson made her debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Carol Danvers in 2019’s Captain Marvel and Avengers: Endgame.

Her career began in the early 2000s when she starred in the short-lived sitcom Raising Dad. She even dabbled in a music career and released an album in 2005 titled Finally Out of P.E.

She began to breakthrough at the start of the 2010s as she starred in Scott Pilgrim vs. the World in 2010 and 21 Jump Street in 2012, and Short Term 12 in 2013, which solidified her status as an up-and-coming star

Two years later, following roles in films such as The Spectacular Now, The Gambler, and Trainwreck, Larson won the Academy Award for Best Actress for her performance as Joy “Ma” Newsome in the 2015 drama Room.

From there, she began to appear in franchise films, as she starred in 2017’s Kong: Skull Island and was cast to be the MCU’s Captain Marvel, one of the strongest characters in the universe.
