Nothing can make you sick like chowing down on your meal only to discover something unsanitary. It’s even worse if you’re already knee-deep into it. This was the case for one Canadian woman. A glance at her mostly-eaten Burger King Whopper sent her hyperventilating.
What’s Wrong with This Burger King Whopper?
“I literally feel so disgusting right now, bro,” TikTok creator Keziah (@kommentarykeziah) says, her voice cracking. “I can’t even talk about it. It’s so gross.”
Covering her mouth as tears fill her eyes, she adds more context.
“I ordered Burger King. I ordered a burger and it literally came with mold,” she explains.
To prove it, the content creator turns the camera to unveil to over 35,000 viewers her nearly-devoured bacon burger with a giant discolored green patch on the bun, a telltale sign of mold.
“I didn’t see it. My room is dim, OK?” Keziah cries, sniffling and retching. “I was just eating. Then, I looked down.”
Needless to say, she isn’t taking this lightly and blasts the fast food joint in the text overlay, writing, “@BurgerKing COUNT YOUR MF DAYS!!! This is literally my worst nightmare.”

Viewers Are Nauseated
Keziah wasn’t the only one who felt revulsion at the sight of her Whopper from Burger King. Many in the comments section gagged alongside her.
“I’m gonna be sick and I ain’t even the one eating it,” one viewer commented.
“Omg the burger being half-eaten too. i’m gagging with you,” another stated.
A third echoed, “omg that’s actually so disgusting.”
As a result, others offered suggestions.
“Girl call the health department because mold can cause you to be really really sick,” one commenter urged.
“Sue them right tf nowwww omfg. Now this is my worst fear,” another recommended.
What Happens If You Consume Mold?
If you’ve polished off a meal or beverage and discover this unwanted furry or discolored fungus, you should watch your symptoms, as it can last within minutes to days. Although small amounts of mold can pass through the digestive system without issues, you should still watch for shortness of breath, nausea, elevated temperature, or diarrhea, according to the Cleveland Clinic. Those who exhibit these symptoms should immediately seek medical attention.

Can She Sue Burger King?
Since Keziah resides in Canada, the laws differ on how to tackle this Burger King issue. Instead, the Government of Canada states to report these incidents to local health departments and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency. From there, they recommend contacting the doctor or local public health centre, who will follow up for appropriate treatment. However, if this caused physical injury, such as food poisoning, there may be a case, though proof is required.
