Rep. Lauren Boebert’s infamous “Beetlejuice” date is having his Colorado bar inundated with a bunch of negative reviews on Yelp.

In case you somehow missed it, the Republican congresswoman was kicked out of a theatrical performance of Beetlejuice in Denver for allegedly vaping and getting a little too handsy with her date.

The incident was, of course, caught on video and went viral, especially when it was discovered that it was the first date Boebert had been on with the man.

The man was later identified as Quinn Gallagher, the owner of Hooch Craft Cocktail Bar in Aspen.

Sadly, his identification has led to his bar being review bombed on Yelp with all sorts of nasty comments.

“The owner is doinking 36 year old Grandma Boebert, who supported an insurrection against America!” read one review which had nothing to do with, you know, the actual bar.

“This place sucks unless you admire an owner that dates Boobert and causes a ruckus at a theater play,” another Yelp “reviewer” wrote.

Things have apparently gotten so bad for Gallagher and his bar that Yelp had to temporarily disable reviews.

Currently, the bar’s Yelp page reads, “This business recently received increased public attention, which often means people come to this page to post their views on the news. While we don’t take a stand one way or the other when it comes to this incident, we’ve temporarily disabled the posting of content to this page as we work to investigate whether the content you see here reflects actual consumer experiences rather than the recent events.”

It continued, “If you’re here to leave a review based on a first-hand experience with the business, please check back at a later date.”

That measure unfortunately hasn’t done anything to stop the negative comments on Hooch’s Facebook page.

“Hope your customers have more class than the owner and his girlfriend did at a Broadway musical,” read one top comment on a Facebook post.

Meanwhile, over on Instagram, the bar has just gone ahead and turned off the comments.
