Internet Has Hilarious Reactions To Finding Out Lauren Boebert’s ‘Beetlejuice’ Incident Was On A First Date

Last weekend, Republican congresswoman Lauren Boebert was kicked out of a theatrical performance of Beetlejuice in Denver for allegedly vaping and performing lewd acts in public.

Given Boebert’s status as a controversial politician and the fact that the incident was caught on video, the story has gone massively viral in recent days.

One element that’s come to light that has absolutely shocked people, though, is the fact that apparently Boebert and the man she was with were on a first date.

Considering how intimate they were with each other (in public, no less), the realization that the pair had only just met each other went over like gangbusters on Twitter.

Making the situation even more absurd is that it not only occurred on the first date, but the pair couldn’t even wait until the date was over and they were in the privacy of their home to start fondling each other.

In an effort to try and make light of the incident, Boebert posted the following statement on social media:

“It’s true, I did thoroughly enjoy the AMAZING Beetlejuice at the Buell Theatre and I plead guilty to laughing and singing too loud! Everyone should go see it if you get a chance this week and please let me know how it ends!”

Speaking to TMZ a few days later, Boebert said “It’s always hard when gravity is put on the voters” and she’s here to “provide levity and lift burdens off of people”

“Ultimately, all future date nights have been canceled and I learned to check party affiliations before you go on a date, but, all in all, it was mostly a lovely time. I’ve taken responsibility for my actions. I would love to know how the musical ended and I encourage people to go and see it,” she said.

Boebert, 36 years old, was born in Florida but serves as a representative for Colorado’s third congressional district, which is a role she has held since 2020.

She is perhaps best known for her views on gun laws, and she previously owned a bar/restaurant called Shooters Grill in Rifle, Colorado, that encouraged staff to carry firearms.

Since she assumed office in January 2021, Boebert — who describes herself as a born-again Christian — has become known for her outspoken style of politics and her opposition to policies such as abortion and same-sex marriage. She is also a supporter of Donald Trump’s claims about a fraudulent election and has apparent connections to Q-Anon.

Having been reelected in 2022, Boebert will likely run for office again next year.
