California Inmate Who Allegedly Stabbed Tory Lanez 14 Times Has Been Identified, Has Extremely Violent Past Including Murder Charges

We’re beginning to learn more about the stabbing of rapper Tory Lanez. On Monday, it was revealed that Lanez had been stabbed at a California prison, where he’s serving 10 years for the shooting of Megan Thee Stallion.

Tory was in the yard of California Correctional Institution at Tehachapi Monday morning when another inmate stabbed him … according to multiple sources, including one in law enforcement.

It’s unclear what the motivation was for the attack, but one source tells us Tory was rushed by ambulance to a nearby civilian hospital in Bakersfield.

Lanez’s team claims the rapper suffered two collapsed lungs after being stabbed 14 times.

“Tory was stabbed 14 times, including 7 wounds to his back, 4 to his torso, 2 to the back of his head, and 1 to the left side of his face. Both of his lungs collapsed, and he was placed on a breathing apparatus”

On Tuesday, the NY Post released information regarding the stabbing suspect, and he has a violent past, including murder charges.

The inmate who allegedly stabbed Tory Lanez in prison this week has been identified as Santino Casio, and he’s already serving life in prison with the possibility of parole, The Post has confirmed.

A representative from the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) told The Post that Casio, 42, is being investigated for allegedly attacking the rapper at a housing unit in the California Correctional Institution, Tehachapi, on Monday, May 12, at approximately 7:20 a.m. PT.

Casio’s rap sheet is a mile long and dates back to 2004, when he was sentenced to life with the possibility of parole for second-degree murder, first-degree attempted murder, personal use of a dangerous or deadly weapon, and inflict great bodily injury, per the CDCR spokesperson.
