Activision has dropped the trailer for season one of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War that shows off all the new content players can unlock starting on Dec. 16.
The trailer features a new Operator, an ex-KGB member named Stitch, who is out for revenge against Russell Adler for cutting out his eye during an interrogation.
The video not only shows new story content but also teases a new Warzone map for the upcoming integration of the free-to-play battle royale series to Black Ops Cold War and a potential new multiplayer map inside of an 80s themed mall.
Warzone‘s new map, Rebirth Island, appears to be a remake of the classic Black Ops Alcatraz map.
A new “Warzone Map and mode” arrives December 16.

Rebirth island is based off of Vozrozhdeniya island, which was an island used by the soviets to develop some of the most lethal bio weapons the world has ever seen.
Commonly referred to as “Anthrax Island”, Rebirth island arrives in #Warzone on December 16th. pic.twitter.com/NExnDlipVp

It’s currently unclear if Rebirth island will replace Verdansk entirely or if it’ll just be an add-on map exclusive for Cold War.
According to the Call of Duty blog all of Black Ops Cold War’s weapons are also being added to Warzone and the mode will feature a new gulag experience.
Battle Royale is set to go beyond Verdansk: prepare to drop into a new Warzone map and mode at launch. Warzone’s arsenal gets even bigger with over 30 Black Ops Cold War base weapons, as well as Blueprint variants! Also, make sure you’re ready to face down fellow prisoners of Warzone in a new Gulag experience.
New season content will be live across all platforms on which both games are available on Wednesday, Dec. 16.
