Cardi B is now a suspect in a battery complaint after throwing her microphone at a fan in the audience at Drai’s Beachclub in Las Vegas this weekend.

The 30-year-old rapper fired her microphone at the fan after an audience member threw a drink at her while she was performing “Bodak Yellow.”

Interestingly, video taken prior to the incident clearly shows Cardi B and her crew telling the audience to “splash her down, splash her the f*** down.”

In the video, she says to the crowd as fans splashed her with water, “That s*** feels good.”

Shortly thereafter, the rapper fired her mic at a fan who did the exact same thing Cardi was asking fans to do.

Now, a woman has gone to Las Vegas police and told them that she was struck by Cardi’s microphone and wants to file charges, according to TMZ.

TMZ says the microphone hit the fan who splashed liquid on the rapper, but also hit another woman who was standing next to her.

It’s not yet clear which one of them filed a complaint.

In related news, after Cardi B launched her mic at the fan, the rapper was compared to Milli Vanilli by many on social media.

That’s because as she was focused on the audience member her track “Bodak Yellow” kept on playing with her voice still being heard despite the microphone laying somewhere on the ground in the audience.

“Cardi B is the new Milli Vanilli, watch the track keep playing after she throws the mic at a fan…” one person tweeted. “Is she just trying to get attention?”

“Is @iamcardib the modern day milli vanilli?” someone else asked. “After Cardi b threw the mic at a fan, you can clearly her cardi rapping through the speakers but cardi’s lips are not moving at all. Does Cardi b lip synch her concerts?”
