A beverage cart girl has gone viral after sharing a situation she faced at work, and viewers were disgusted.
While some view the job as glamorous, being a beverage cart girl isn’t easy. Although they can make extra money from tips, they also have to avoid “creepy” golfers’ advances.
TikToker and beverage cart girl Kayla Brooke (@itskaylabrookeee), in turn, has gone viral after sharing some of the things she has to put up with as a beverage cart girl. Her TikTok has amassed 6.2 million views.
The video begins with a clip of a man driving past in a golf cart saying, “You’re ugly. You’re f—— ugly.”
The video included on-screen text that read: “The things I deal with as a cart girl.”
In the next clip, she then repeatedly told the man “no” and remarked, “I hope his wife sees this.”
Then, the clip changed to Kayla herself riding in a golf cart, saying to a man, “You just had to take a pee like, right in front of me?”
In response, the man laughed and replied, “You’re not supposed to look.”
“I’m not supposed to look?” she asked.
“I turned my back,” he said.
She retorted, “So you pee in front of the cart girl?”
“Of course, I will pee wherever else if I have to,” he replied.
They kept going back and forth, with Kayla insisting she did not “like that.”
“You know that there’s a restroom at the end of this hole, right?” she added.
“No, I don’t understand what’s the problem,” the man said in response.
Things Soon Escalate
The camera cuts to the man a distance away. He is with two other people.
“Why are you over here?” he calls over to her.
“It’s my job. It’s my job. You better pray that a woman in your life is never treated like that,” she replied.
“What, dude, what? Are you serious? You know how many times I’ve p—– on the course?” he asked.
At this point, one of the people with him, who appeared to be working at the golf course, said, “There’s a girl watching.”
“Why is she watching me?” he queried. “But why is she watching me, then? Her job is to watch me pee when I’m facing the other way?”
He continued, “I don’t give a f—. It’s her job to watch me when I’m peeing 100 yards from her?”
He then crossed the course and called out directly to her, asking her age, and said, “Liked what you’re looking at, huh?”
As he said this, she repeated it’s none of his business what her age is.
He then said he thought she was “ugly as f—” and called her a “b—-.”
Then, the video got to the point where the footage matched the first part of the video, with the man driving away in the golf cart and repeating, “You’re not hot, you’re not hot. You’re ugly. You’re f—— ugly.”
In the comments, Kayla added, “I would like to clarify, the situation was immediately handled by management and the golfer was banned from the course.”
People Are Appalled At His Behavior
Several commenters shared screenshots of the man in the hopes of identifying him.
“TikTok, do your job,” one wrote.
“Soooo, where does he work?” another asked.
Meanwhile, a third commenter said that “his membership should be immediately terminated.”
And a fourth pointed out, “Men will defend public urination but blow a gasket when a woman breast feeds in public.”
“‘Did you not like that?’ Tells you EVERYTHING you need to know about his intentions!” a fifth remarked. “Disgusting!”
Are People Allowed To Pee On a Golf Course?
Broadly, public urination is illegal in all 50 states. As explained by the website Criminal Defense Lawyer, a person who pees in public can be charged under a specific state’s law or a city or council’s ordinances. In most states, however, it is usually charged as a public nuisance or as disorderly conduct.
Rarely, those who pee in public can get charged with indecent exposure, public lewdness, or be put on the sex offender registry.
Meanwhile, on Golf.com, writer Josh Sens says that one should always enquire first. “The polite way to phrase your question is by asking where you might find the nearest restroom,” he writes. “In most cases, your host will tell you that any oak or pine will do. But should they say, ‘There’s one at the turn,’ that’s your cue that you should wait.”
He continued, “No matter where you are, abide by common sense: never into the wind, never in the corridors of play (no matter how good the drainage) and always as discreetly as possible. Try to stay out of view. Don’t make a scene. Hold off on commentary before and after. As with intimate relations between grandparents, everybody knows that these things happen from time to time, but no one needs to hear about them.”
