Chet Hanks posted a video of him confronting Eric Andre
Chet Hanks and Eric André’s years-long feud took another turn over the weekend when Hanks confronted Andre at ComplexCon. The pair have been beefing since Hanks appeared on Andre’s show in 2023.
A video posted to Chet Hanks’ Instagram shows Tom Hanks’ wildcard son Chet walking up to Eric André from behind at ComplexCon in Los Angeles and putting a hand on his shoulder.

André initially seems happy to see him before becoming confused, as he can be heard asking, “What are you talking about?” before walking away with security and shouting to “Call Tom Hanks.”
CELEBRITY BEEF—Chet Hanks finally confronted Eric Andre at ComplexCon, years after the two developed a very public beef over Chet’s appearance on The Eric André Show.
The feud began in 2023 after Andre claimed Chet was ‘emotionally disturbed’ and dangerously rode a dirt bike around his set, nearly knocking crew members off ladders, etc.
Chet disputed Andre’s version, saying he simply realized the show was built around trolling its guests and decided to ‘match the energy.’
He accused Andre of getting nervous once his energy stole the show and publicly called Andre a ‘pussy.’
Andre fired back, calling Chet a liar and even jokingly demanding he take a DNA test to prove Tom Hanks was really his father.
Andre later insisted the beef wasn’t staged, at one point challenging Chet to say what he had been saying ‘to my face.’
Fast-forward to ComplexCon and it looks like Chet took him up on that offer.
Hilarious.

In his caption, Chet claimed André had “NO MEMORY WHATSOEVER” of criticizing him publicly, said André travels with four security guards, and said André told him the issue was his Jamaican accent, which Chet says André described as mocking Caribbean culture.
“Finally ran into Eric Andre , who apparently travels to ComplexCon with 4 security guards (because the environment makes him uneasy) and who had NO MEMORY WHATSOEVER of trashing me to the media after I outshined him on his own show!!” Hanks wrote.
“Until after being sheltered by his security team, began foaming at the mouth and admitted it was because he had a problem with me ‘mocking Caribbean culture’ when I did my Jamaican accent all those years ago. WHO KNEW that in addition to the brain rot and poop joke humor he is known for, Eric is also such a passionate cultural activist!!! Great running into you Eric!!!!”
Back in 22023, André told Rolling Stone that Chet was “emotionally disturbed” after he rode a motorcycle around the set of his show, alleging that he nearly knocked crew members off their ladders. Chet later responded on Instagram, saying he’d been matching André’s energy and that “turns out you’re just a p—-.”
André called him a liar and demanded Chet take a DNA test to prove Tom Hanks was really his father.
