Chris Stapleton And Chris Pratt Sing ‘(I’ve Had) The Time Of My Life’ Because The Bromance Is Real

Chris Pratt Chris Stapleton Sing Duet

Jimmy Kimmel Live

You know what pisses me off? When actors and actresses can sing ridiculously well. They’re already these insanely successful, charismatic, and talented people but then they’re able to sing on top of that? It’s just not right when certain people soak up all the talent. And that’s exactly what’s going on here with Chris Pratt who was a guest host on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night.

Chris Stapleton was one of Chris Pratt’s guests as Pratt subbed in as host for Jimmy Kimmel. The two kicked the show off by singing ‘(I’ve Had) The Time Of My Life’, the 1987 hit from Dirty Dancing. This isn’t exactly the duet you’d expect to see Chris Stapleton singing with Chris Pratt but that’s what makes this duet so grand:

Pratt was subbing in for Jimmy Kimmel last night while Jimmy had the night off. Pratt took to the role like a fish in water and conducted the interviews like a seasoned veteran. He teased a new clip from the forthcoming Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom trailer but he also conducted a pretty solid interview with Chris Stapleton after the two bros sang their duet. I really didn’t know that Chris & Chris had such a bromance but in hindsight, I’m not at all surprised:

It’s pretty awesome that Jimmy Kimmel can pretty much get any celebrity he wants to step in for him on nights he takes off to spend with his family or for whatever reason. He recently took off a few days last month to spend some time with his son and Jimmy was able to get A-List celebs to sub in for him every night. If you think Fallon could pull that off you’re crazy.
