British actor Ralph Fiennes rose to fame as a support actor in “Schindler’s List” in 1993 and then again in the early 2000s when he played the role of Lord Voldemort in the famed Harry Potter series. But in recent years, Fiennes has established himself as one of the world’s top leading men, starring in highly acclaimed films such as “The Menu” and “Conclave,” the latter of which earned him a Best Actor nominee at the 2024 Oscars. But now Fiennes is going viral for an entirely different reason.
The 62-year-old to0k to social media on Saturday morning to show off his absolutely ridiculous jacked physique. The body transformation came as part of his job playing the role of Odysseus, the legendary hero and King of Ithaca in Homer’s epic poem The Odyssey, in the 2024 movie “The Return.”

Ralph Fiennes Explains How And Why He Got Jacked For Role In ‘The Return’
“I wanted it to be believable as a man who’s fought and sailed and swum and has not eaten very much,” Fiennes said of his body transformation in a recent private Q+A. “Thanks to a wonderful trainer, Dan – we were side by side in getting me into the shape you see. But it was a lot of Dan’s knowledge of diet and training. He was very, very precise.”
The work has undeniably paid off, as fans marveled at how Fiennes could be in such great shape given his age.
“He gave them a chance but now he’s coming to take that Oscar from Adrien Brody the hard way,” one fan joked.
“This is wild at 62 would be really cool if you let us know the full regimen. Supplements, routine,” asked another.
Fiennes is undeniably one of Hollywood’s biggest stars these days, both literally and metaphorically, and it doesn’t seem as if that’ll stop anytime toon.
