The Jake Gyllenhaal-starring remake of Road House had its world premiere at the South by Southwest Festival in Austin, Texas, earlier this week, and the behavior of one of its stars, Conor McGregor, is causing some concern.

One interview from the red carpet is going particularly viral, with many on Twitter speculating that McGregor is on some sort of substance given how jittery and twitchy he appears to be in the video.

That’s all purely speculation, however, so watch the video for yourself and make your own determination.

“This man lives life in 1.75x video speed,” one person joked on Twitter.

“This is truly very sad… he was once such a special human being not just fighter. I seriously hope he can regain himself but these things are hard to come back from,” said one Twitter user who replied to the video with a more somber view of things.

Now 35 years old, McGregor is a former UFC fighter who became the first athlete in the history of the competition to hold belts in two weight classes simultaneously: Featherweight and Lightweight. McGregor hasn’t fought in the UFC, however, since losing to Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in July 2021.

The release of Road House has sparked some controversy in recent months, as director Doug Liman has been vocal about his frustrations with Amazon for not releasing the film in theaters.

In addition to McGregor and Gyllenhaal, the Doug Liman-directed remake of Road House also stars Daniela Melchior, Billy Magnussen, Jessica Williams, Darren Barnet, J. D. Pardo, Arturo Castro, and more.

Liman is also known for directing films such as Swingers, The Bourne Identity, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Edge of Tomorrow, and more. He’s also attached to direct the Tom Cruise movie that will reportedly be partially filmed in outer space.

You can check out the official synopsis and trailer for the film, which hits Prime Video on March 21, below.

In this adrenaline-fueled reimagining of the 80s cult classic, ex-UFC fighter Dalton (Jake Gyllenhaal) takes a job as a bouncer at a Florida Keys roadhouse, only to discover that this paradise is not all it seems.

Road House begins streaming globally on Prime Video on Thursday, March 21.
