Dave Grohl is an extremely talented singer, songwriter, guitarist, and drummer. So it would not surprise anyone that some of his God-given talents have been passed on to his two daughters. On Sunday night, both his daughters Violet and Harper helped dear dad play some quality music at a show. The best part is that was for charity.

The traveling Grohls played at the Notes & Words benefit concert in the Fox Theater in Oakland, California. Proceeds from the benefit show went to the UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital. While the Foo Fighters frontman strummed the acoustic guitar, his 12-year-old daughter sang a spirited rendition of Adele’s “When We Were Young.” Violet definitely has some strong singing pipes and is much more than just having the right last name.

After the Adele cover song, 9-year-old Harper Grohl joined the family band to play “The Sky Is a Neighborhood,” one of the newest Foo Fighters’ hits. Violet and Harper sang backup vocals. The set ended with a cover of Queen’s “We Will Rock You” where Harper played the drums just like how her dad got his epic career started.

You may remember that nearly a year ago Haper performed with Foo Fighters at the Secret Solstice Festival in Reykjavik, Iceland. She also played a cover of Queen’s “We Will Rock You.” And Grohl has a third relatively unknown offspring. The all-world singer “adopted” a dedicated fan during a Foo Fighters concert.
