Since Deion Sanders took over as the he’d coach of the Colorado Buffaloes, the program has seen some big changes.

They have put together college football’s best transfer class for the 2023 offseason while also landing some solid recruits.

They’ve also had a few players head for the transfer portal.

Sanders memorably suggested that some players should be ready to head to the transfer portal when he first spoke with his players at Colorado.

Some of their players wasted no time taking his advice and quickly entered the portal. Others decided to wait and see what the future held for them.

Today, quite a few more of his players decided to take his advice.

According to On3, running back Jayle Stacks is heading for the transfer portal. Stacks is the 5th player from Colorado to enter the transfer portal today.

Stacks joins Keyshon Mills, Nikko Reed, Dylan Dixson, and Austin Smith in the transfer portal after the other 4 had all entered earlier in the day.

Mills, Reed, and Stacks have all already been replaced by high-profile transfers or recruits over the past few months.

Mills and Reed are both corners. The Buffaloes have added top transfer Travis Hunter and Normani McClain, who is the top corner in the Class of 2023.

Stacks will be replaced by the first big recruit that Sanders landed for the Buffaloes. Back in early December, he landed 4-star running back Dylan Edwards.

Dixson is a former 3-star recruit at safety who didn’t see much of the field as a freshman last season.

Smith is a tight end who also didn’t see very much of the field as a freshman, making just one catch for 4 yards.

It hasn’t taken long for big changes to come for the Colorado Buffaloes under Deion Sanders.
