Diddy Dressed In An Insane Heath Ledger Joker Costume For Halloween

If you’ve come here for an article about Diddy, then as Tyrion once famously opined about finding justice in King’s Landing, you’ve come to the wrong place. This article is instead going to be about the person that Diddy dressed up as for Halloween: Heath Ledger’s Joker from the 2008 classic The Dark Knight. If you just want to check out the videos and photos, scroll on down to the bottom.

Whenever I think about Heath Ledger, the first thing that comes to mind is that he would’ve just turned 40 years old back in 2020. For comparison, Leonardo DiCaprio is 47 years old, Tom Hardy is 45 years old, and Chris Evans is 41. Ledger — who was just 28 when he tragically passed away back in 2008 — would’ve been in the absolute *prime* of his career these days. That’s the first thing I think of.

The second is what his career might’ve been following a turn as Joker in The Dark Knight that still ranks as one of the most titanic and transformational performances of the 21st century. With an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor under his belt (and another nomination for Brokeback Mountain, there’s a very real chance he likely would have a second Academy Award win by now and would likely be in the conversation of being the best actor of his generation. What a loss he was.

Still, thanks to Ledger’s truly legendary performance as Gotham City’s Clown Prince of Crime in The Dark Knight, the dearly-missed actor remains culturally relevant to this day and likely will be for some time, especially considering that his take on Joker is still considered to be the defining performance of the comic book movie genre, which has since become Hollywood’s pre-eminent genre.

Such a long-lasting cultural figure, in fact, that even moguls such as Diddy are going all out — and I mean *all out* — to dress up as him for Halloween.

Rest in Peace, Heath. While you may not have had enough time to prove it, we still know you were one of the best to ever do it.
