If you consider yourself a soccer fan, particularly of the Italian variety, then you’ve undoubtedly heard of Diletta Leotta. The 31-year-old has gained international attention in recent years ever since she began working for the startup streaming network DAZN.
Since then, she’s amassed over 8 million followers and counting on Instagram. Given the scenic locales she’s constantly posing in front of — such as the Colosseum in Rome — it’s not hard to see why.
In addition to her presenting duties for DAZN, Leotta also hosts a radio show for the Italian network Radio 105.
Recently, Leotta began dating professional goalkeeper Loris Karius, who currently plays for Newcastle United in the Premier League. Despite being the third-string keeper, Karius started in the team’s appearance in the League Cup Final a few months back. Newcastle lost the match to Manchester United by a score of 2-0. Despite the two goals conceded, Karius actually played pretty well, making eight saves in the game.
Karius, 29 years old, is best known for his time with Liverpool Football Club, which saw him start in the 2018 Champions League Final. That game would ultimately be Karius’ final for the iconic English club, however, as a duo of self-inflicted errors ultimately cost LFC the game.
While Leotta and Karius haven’t been dating for all that long, they announced earlier this year that they are expecting a child together, which will be their first.
