Star Italian soccer presenter Diletta Leotta is back with another round of Instagram heat, this time posting from the old world of Sicily in a stunning red dress that’s reminiscent of the dancing girl emoji.
Leotta, who works for the sports streaming network DAZN covering Serie A and the Champions League, recently spent Easter weekend with boyfriend Loris Karius — a professional goalkeeper at Newcastle United — and various loved ones.
Clearly knowing where her bread is buttered, Leotta made sure to share a poolside photo from her holiday weekend, as well.
Leotta’s relationship with Karius is relatively new, as the pair were first spotted together last Fall. In March, however, the blonde duo announced that they were expecting their first child together in a heartwarming Instagram post.
Karius, 29 years old, is best known for his time in the English Premier League with Liverpool Football Club, which unfortunately culminated in an infamous meltdown in the 2018 Champions League final, which saw the LFC keeper gift Real Madrid with two decisive goals in the 3-1 loss.
Since that match, Liverpool moved on from Karius — who has played for clubs in Germany such as Mainz and Union Berlin, and in Turkey with Besiktas — in favor of Brazilian keeper Alisson Becker, who is widely regarded as being among the best in the world at his position.
Back in September, though, Newcastle United signed Karius to be their third-string keeper, which shockingly resulted in him getting the start in the team’s appearance in the Carabao Cup Final back in February.
While the Magpies ultimately lost to the Manchester United Red Devils by a score of 2-0 in the match, Karius acquitted himself well with eight saves. Something tells us, though, that despite bis professional struggles, Karius is just fine with where his life has ended up.
