Iron Man 3 is a Christmas movie, so says Disney+, pre-emptively putting an end to any debate people might be having over the holidays.
That’s right. Just like Die Hard, Gremlins, Rocky IV, Batman Returns, Lethal Weapon, Edward Scissorhands, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Trading Places, The Last Boy Scout and Eyes Wide Shut, Iron Man 3 is one of the best Christmas movies of all time.
As you may recall in Iron Man 3, Tony Stark bought Pepper Potts a gigantic stuffed rabbit as a gift. There was also a humongous Christmas tree in his house and “Jingle Bell Rock” was playing as he worked in his lab.
You may also recall the Christmas lights all over the town “five miles outside of Rose Hill, Tennessee” where Tony spent some quality time in a garage with precocious youngster Harley Keener.
Tony also completely redid Harley’s garage with numerous items as his Christmas gift to him for helping him out.
Also…
If that’s not a Christmas movie then I don’t know what is.
Then again, most people in America, including Die Hard star Bruce Willis, apparently don’t.
Let’s see what arbiter of all things trivial, Twitter, has to say, shall we? We shall.
In order to be a Christmas movie, Christmas must feed into the plot of the movie. I would not consider Ironman 3 a Christmas movie any more than the new Star Wars movies are.

Just like Die Hard. People are just sleeping on what's in plain sight.
