In August 2023, then 51-year-old (now 52) former The Sopranos star Drea de Matteo — who played Adriana La Cerva, the tragic partner of Christopher Moltasanti — announced that she was joining the content subscription service OnlyFans.

Now, barely half a year into her OF venture, de Matteo has revealed how much money she’s made, and apparently it was enough to pay off her mortgage in “minutes.”

In an interview with DailyMail, de Matteo said she was able to pay off her mortgage debt in just “five minutes” after a time when she had just “$10 to her name.”

“They put me into foreclosure and my house had flooded, so I was trying to sell the house quickly,” she said. “I wanted to try and sell it before they took it.”

“At the same time, I lost my mom, and my other mom, who has dementia, had run out of money for her caregiver. I didn’t know which way was up.”

Things changed once she joined OnlyFans, however, saying that her turnaround in fortunes was instantaneous.

“I was like, holy s–. In five minutes, I was able to pay back compass real estate who kept the sale of my house…. I did it, but I didn’t want to do it. I got a lot of heat for doing it and it went f—— viral and people went nuts.”

For her portrayal of Adriana La Cerva in The Sopranos, de Matteo won the Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actress in 2004.

In addition to The Sopranos, de Matteo is also known for her work in projects such as the Friends spinoff JoeyShades of Blue, Assault on Precinct 13, Desperate Housewives, Sons of Anarchy, and Mayans M.C.

Currently, de Matteo has two films in post-production That’s Amore!, alongside John Travolta, Katherine Heigl, and Christopher Walken, and Nonnas, which stars Vince Vaughn in the lead role.
