Two weeks ago, we received a treasure trove of information when the marketing campaign for Eminem’s new album was revealed. The album is being promoted with fake prescription drug ads for a product called “Revival.” There was a commercial and even a website promoting the faux drug that combats a faux disease called Atrox Rithimus.
On Wednesday, Eminem continued the clever marketing campaign for his eighth album on Instagram and Twitter with a doctor’s prescription which said “Walk On Water” and “Take as needed.” The note was written on a Revival Post-It and featured a website link and phone number at the bottom of the page.
Here’s what happens when you call the number.

This seems to confirm that Em’s new album is titled “Revival,” which pairs nicely with his other LP’s that start with “Re” and are drug abuse-related, 2009’s “Relapse” and 2010’s “Recovery.” This would also indicate that Eminem’s first single off of Revival will be “Walk on Water.” “Revival” is expected to drop on Nov. 17 and Eminem is scheduled to appear on Saturday Night Live on Nov. 18, so new Eminem music should be hitting your eardrums any day now.
