The First Electric Trailer For Chris Hemsworth’s Netflix Action Flick ‘Extraction’ Is Here

Now this is what the fuck I’m talkin’ about baby let’s gooooooo. Never have Netflix movies had such a high value, you know, considering the fact that we don’t know when we’ll be allowed in actual movie theaters again. And when it comes to Netflix movies, I’ve had my eyes on Extraction for some time now.

Produced by Joe and Anthony Russo — directors of massive Marvel Cinematic Universe hits such as Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame Extraction stars Chris Hemsworth as Tyler Rake, a “fearless black-market mercenary with nothing left to lose” who is tasked with “rescuing the kidnapped son of an imprisoned international crime lord.”

Sign me all the way up for that, fam, because when it comes to at-home action flicks, that’s all you could really ask for. Plus, it also stars everyone’s favorite Thicc King David Harbour!

I’m of the opinion that Hemsworth is one of the most enjoyable movie stars working today, as his portrayal of Thor was perhaps the dramatic highlight of Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame. In fact, ever since Marvel Studios began leaning into Hemsworth’s comedic chops, the Thor franchise is now one of the MCU’s most successful, as the God of Thunder is set to be the first Avenger to star in a fourth solo film.

Extraction — which is directed by Sam Hargrave (in his directorial debut) and stars Hemsworth, David Harbour, Manoj Bajpayee, Rohit Sukhwani, Rudraksh Jaiswal, Marc Donato, Fay Masterson, and Derek Luke — hits Netflix on Friday, April 24.
