The gaunt appearance of Ariana Grande in her latest music video for the song “Petal” has fans worried that the musician and actress might be dealing with a major health problem.
To be clear, the Wicked star, who is 33 years old, is a naturally very petite person, standing at just 5 feet tall. But concerns about her weight first arose around the release of the first of two Wicked films in 2024, and they’ve now become even more worrisome for fans.
Beyond that, Grande’s new music video features a fictitious note from a talent scout claiming that it “couldn’t hurt to lose a few lbs” in reference to the singer.

Ariana Grande Fans Are Extremely Worried For Her
That aspect, coupled with her appearance, has fans worried that the musician and actress could be dealing with an eating disorder.
“Idk how you can see this and feel anything besides deep concern and horror. everyone on her team is complicit. pray she gets help soon,” singer-songwriter Claire de Lune posted on X.
And she was far from alone in her sentiments.
“We should not be able to count the bones in her clavicle and sternum. She needs serious emergency help, and pretending she doesn’t and that this is OK, is harmful to her and all the young women and girls who look up to her to emulate,” another fan wrote.
And again, we here at BroBible dot com are not doctors. We do not know how much Grande weighs, nor if it is healthy for her, and we’re not here to tell her how to look. But it’s easy to understand why there is so much worry surrounding her appearance.
“We’re watching Karen Carpenter 2.0′ and everyone’s too afraid of being ‘cancelled’ to actually say the truth,” Buzzfeed reporter Ellie Hall said, referring to the star musician who passed away at 33 years of age in 1983 after complications tied to a lengthy bought with anorexia.
Hopefully, we’re all just wrong and Grande is completely healthy. But more so, if she’s not, hopefully she feels comfortable getting the help that she needs.
