Academy Award-nominated actress Florence Pugh is one of the many stars in Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer, as she plays Jean Tatlock in the film.

Based on the dress she wore to the United Kingdom premiere of the film, though, you’d be forgiven for thinking that she’s actually playing the atom bomb itself, as the 27-year-old rocked a stunning orange gown to match her bright orange haircut.

As a result of Tatlock’s relationship with J. Robert Oppenheimer, Nolan’s latest film — which some reviews say is his masterpiece — includes an extended romantic scene between Pugh and Cillian Murphy, the star of Oppenheimer who plays the titular character.

Alongside Murphy as Oppenheimer and Pugh as Tatlock, Oppenheimer also stars Emily Blunt as Katherine “Kitty” Oppenheimer, Matt Damon as Leslie Groves, and Robert Downey Jr. as Lewis Strauss.  Further cast members include Josh Hartnett, Casey Affleck, Rami Malek, Kenneth Branagh, and many more.

One of the most promising and highly sought-after actresses in the world, Pugh is also set to star in Denis Villeneuve’s Dune: Part Two, which will be hitting theaters across the globe in November.

Next up for Pugh will be her latest appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as she’s set to reprise her role as Yelena Belova in the 2024 film Thunderbolts. That project may be delayed, however, due to the ongoing actors’ strike, which actually began while the U.K. premiere of Oppenheimer was happening.

If you want to keep up with Pugh and all of her latest career updates and photos, make sure you’re following her Instagram account, which currently has over 9 million followers and is a particularly great follow when Pugh decides to go live from her kitchen.
