YES! YES! YES! – Busch Gardens Is Bringing Back Free Beer For The First Time Since 2009

Busch Gardens Tampa

Here’s some great news if you love imbibing ice cold adult beverages and getting your theme park on. Busch Gardens, once the pride and joy of the Anheuser-Busch portfolio, is bringing back free beer for the first time since 2009, when Anheuser-Busch spun the amusement park out to a private equity group during the beer brand’s acquisition to InBev.

Today the park announced that they’re BRINGING THE FREE BEER BACK this summer, from May 1 to August 5th. What better way to toast an afternoon of riding some of Florida’s best coasters, from Cobra’s Curse to Cheetah Hunt to Sheikra, Kumba, and Montu.

Via an official press release, titled “BEER IS BACK

Guests over the age of 21 can enjoy two complimentary 7 oz. beer per day at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. Hallelujah!!!

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is going back to its roots by offering the longest run of complimentary beer in nearly 10 years! From complimentary seasonal offerings to all-new programs, guests age 21 and older can toast to new adventures each time they visit the park.

Starting May 1, each adult guest can visit the Garden Gate Cafe for two complimentary 7 oz. beers during their visit to Busch Gardens. Featured flavors will change throughout the Summer. The first week will kick off with Corona to celebrate Cinco de Mayo! Guest favorites will be featured on rotation throughout the Summer, including Bud Light, Yuengling, Shock Top, Miller Light, MIA 305 and Founders All Day IPA. Guests can return to the park each day through the beginning of August to enjoy two free beverages, included in their theme park admission.

*Raises hand*

Two 70z beers aren’t going to last long in the Florida summer heat, but cheers to a great way of getting people in the gate with the price of admission.

Here’s the bad news: This only applies to the Tampa Busch Gardens theme park, not the Williamsburg location. All the more reason to just keep driving south on 95 this summer and skip that mosquito-infested swamp.
