How To Get FREE Guacamole From Chipotle Today For National Avocado Day

Guacamole sits on a dish at a Chipotle restaurant on March 5, 2014 in Miami, Florida. The Mexican fast food chain is reported to have tossed around the idea that it would temporarily suspend sales of guacamole due to an increase in food costs. (Photo by Joe Raedle/Getty Images)

Usually, when you step into Chipotle and ask for a burrito bursting with goodness, you get to the end of the order counter and the kind employee informs you that guacamole will cost extra. However, today is National Avocado Day and on this delicious holiday, guacamole is not extra.

Chipotle is offering free guacamole on Tuesday, but there are some stipulations to this yummy offer. You must order an entrée online or on the Chipotle app. You can add a side of guac or a regular order of chips and guacamole with a purchase of a burrito, bowl, salad or tacos. Enter the promo code “AVOCADO” and BAM! You get free guac. The free guac offer is not available for in-store orders.

So now you know what you’re having for lunch and dinner today. Read all of the terms and conditions HERE. Let’s hope that guacamole is the only thing you get for free from Chipotle, unlike the 170 people who got a free foodborne illness from a Chipotle in Ohio this week.
