The first official trailer for 'The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth' has been released
The first trailer for the sequel to Quentin Tarantino’s Oscar-winning film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth, has been released. Tarantino wrote the script for the film, while Seven and The Social Network filmmaker David Fincher will direct.
With a reported budget of $200 million, The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth is set to be both Quentin Tarantino and David Fincher’s most expensive film of their careers. Brad Pitt will be returning to the role of Cliff Booth, which won him the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor.
While the official trailer for the film has been released (and gives fans the best idea yet of what the plot will be, in addition to making multiple references to the events of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood), the official plot synopsis remains sparse.
The first official trailer for The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth has debuted ahead of its November 23 release date
“Brad Pitt returns as Cliff Booth, only this time it’s 1977 and it’s a very different Hollywood.”
In addition to Pitt, The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth stars Timothy Olyphant (also reprising his role from Once Upon a Time in Hollywood), Scott Caan, Elizabeth Debicki, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Carla Gugino, Holt McCallany, Corey Fogelmanis, and JB Tadena. The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth is set in 1977, approximately eight years after the events of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth will be both a rarity and perhaps a sign of things to come for Netflix, as the film will first be released in IMAX on November 25 before hitting the streaming service on December 23. Netflix is also planning to release movies such as Greta Gerwig’s Narnia: The Magician’s Nephew in theaters when it releases next year.
