Gangs In Brazil Have Begun Enforcing Their Own Lockdowns

Just a few short moments ago, co-worker Doug shared a video of Conor McGregor delivering an objectively electric plea to the government of Ireland to lock the country down. Regardless of how you may or may not feel about McGregor, you cannot deny the obvious passion of his plea, as he is clearly trying to use his platform to save lives.

And after taking in McGregor’s two-and-a-half-minute rant, I was reminded of an image I posted to BroBible‘s Instagram last night, which represents a much more extreme version of what Conor is doing, which is essentially stepping up for the population while the government dicks around.

That’s right, down in the favelas of Rio de Janeiro, gangs are reportedly enacting their own version of a lockdown due to the government’s failure to do so.

“If the government won’t do the right thing, organized crime will,” a statement from one of these gangs reads.

The matrix has been broken into a million pieces.
