Goodwill is known for having hidden gems every now and again. And after his wife’s discovery, this golfing enthusiast really hit the jackpot.
While some argue that Costco and Sam’s Club are the best places to pick up golf supplies, there are at least two people who would disagree: content creator Caroline Ecker (@carolineecker) and her husband.
In a video that has garnered 4.3 million views, the TikToker shared her latest Goodwill find.
Scotty Cameron Golf Clubs At Goodwill
The video starts with footage of Ecker touching a bag of golf clubs and asking, “Kyle, does this interest you at all?” As she does this, on-screen text says, “When you send your husband a video from the thrift store asking if he wants these golf clubs.”
A different text then flashes, saying, “And he calls you immediately freaking out. Anyone know why?”
She then zooms in closer on the product, focusing on the $19.99 label. Among the collection of golf clubs is one with the iconic Scotty Cameron cover. She tells her husband to let her know if he’s interested.
As the video cuts to Kyle and the golf club bag outside, it is pretty clear that he is.
“All right, Kyle,” Ecker begins.
“Are we gonna do full reveal of what’s actually in here?” he asks.
She then asks if he is excited, to which Kyle replies, “I am extremely excited.”
He then says he wanted the bag “just from the head cover alone.”
As he tries to pick up club, admits he was trying to not shake but found this “pretty freaking exciting.”
He then pulls a Scotty Cameron club and expresses his amazement, pointing out the “Cameron” emblazoned on the grip.
The TikTok then cuts to a clip with a detailed look at the club, with the club itself having an engraving saying, “TeI3.”
It then cuts back to unboxing.
“I’m gonna freaking lose it. I can not believe this,” Kyle says. He then takes the cover off the club. He laughs and says, “Oh my God. … Look at that.”
Kyle then shows the bottom of the club to the camera before footage once again changes to a closer look at both the club and the cover.
Once the clip returns to the unboxing, Kyle calls the find “incredible” and “amazing.”
He demonstrates holding the club and says, “This is gonna take my putting game to a whole ‘nother level.”
“If you thought I was going a lot before,” he says, “Now…”
As he holds the club and cover, he adds, “Just look at that; that is so cool.”
“Worth 20 bucks?” Ecker asks.
“Worth 20 bucks, for sure,” Kyle replies.
It should be noted that, on eBay, Scotty Cameron TeI3 golf clubs fetch prices between $300 and $500. So, evidently, this is quite the bargain. “I Think I Just Won Wife of the Year, ” Ecker captioned her video.

‘Explain This In Pokémon Terms’
Many commenters were delighted by the find.
“A Scotty Cameron is CRAZY” one wrote.
“I’ll explain this in Pokémon terms,” a second said. “She just found a 1st edition Charizard for $30.”
“And that’s how you get your man on board with your thrifting addiction!” a third joked.
Others were a little confused, but still liked the vibe.
“It’s so nice seeing people happy,” a fourth said.
While a fifth commented, “I have no idea what’s going on, but I’m glad he’s excited.”
Man ‘Strikes Gold’ After Looking At Goodwill Golf Clubs
Lifestyle TikToker Laziz Baldwin (@laziz.baldwin) went viral last year after having a similar experience at Goodwill.
In the TikTok, he advised viewers that it is always best to check thrift stores like Goodwill first before forking out for full-priced, premium golfing equipment.
The content was simple. There was on-screen text that read, “Your sign to go to your local Goodwill and find some gold.” Meanwhile, Baldwin was showing off the “gold” in question: a PING G30 driver.
Like the Scotty Cameron golf clubs, the PING G30 driver goes for hundreds of dollars online, meaning that it’s easier than ever for golf enthusiasts to get more bang for their buck when they look in all the right places.
