After years of cutting away right before a character could finish the word or cleverly bleeping it, it appears as though the Marvel Cinematic Universe will unleash the first-ever F-bomb in the history of the 15-year-old franchise.

In a newly released clip from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Chris Pratt’s Star-Lord is revealed to be the character given the honor of dropping the first in-universe F-bomb, which is fitting considering the misfit nature of the Guardians within the MCU.

Here’s the official synopsis for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, via Marvel Studios:

In Marvel Studios’ Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 our beloved band of misfits are settling into life on Knowhere. But it isn’t long before their lives are upended by the echoes of Rocket’s turbulent past. Peter Quill, still reeling from the loss of Gamora, must rally his team around him on a dangerous mission to save Rocket’s life—a mission that, if not completed successfully, could quite possibly lead to the end of the Guardians as we know them.

Directed by James Gunn, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will be both the final film in the franchise and Gunn’s last movie with Marvel, as he was appointed co-CEO of DC Studios back in 2022.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will feature the returning main cast of Chris Pratt as Peter Quill/Star-Lord, Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Dave Bautista as Drax the Destroyer, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Chukwudi Iwuji as the High Evolutionary, Elizabeth Debicki as Ayesha, Pom Klementieff as Mantis, Bradley Cooper as the voice of Rocket, and Vin Diesel as the voice of Groot.

Additional cast members include Will Poulter as Adam Warlock, Sean Gunn as Kraglin Obfonteri, Sylvester Stallone as Stakar Ogord, and Maria Bakalova as the voice of Cosmo the Spacedog. The film will hit theaters in the United States on Friday, May 5. You can check out an official trailer below:
