How do you deal with the pain of a tattoo? Squeeze a stress ball? Take a painkiller? Get drunk? Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson has a different solution on how to take his mind off the pain of a new tattoo. The Mountain from Game of Thrones bench presses his wife while getting inked up to pass the time.
The former World’s Strongest Man didn’t want to waste the time in the tattoo artist’s chair. He couldn’t pass up the chance to keep his already massive muscular body toned. Hafthor Bjornsson was getting a large tattoo on his leg, so he used the idle time to bench press his wife, Kelsey Henson. #RelationshipGoals
The Instagram video was captioned: “69… 70,71 easy weight!! Using my wife as weight while getting tattooed! No rest for the wicked!” Nice!
Oddly, this isn’t the first time that Hafþór Björnsson has lifted his wife or the second or third or fourth. The strongman has even started a competition of throwing his wife.
Thor has even lifted Ed Sheeran.
Kelsey Henson is said to only weigh 117 pounds, so this was a breeze for The Mountain who holds the world record for the heaviest deadlift ever done on an elephant bar, lifting an insane 1,042 pounds.
The Icelandic strongman, who played Ser Gregor Clegane, is the first person to have won the Arnold Strongman Classic, Europe’s Strongest Man and World’s Strongest Man in the same calendar year.

Kelsey, who stands at 5-Foot-2, pulled a Dodge Ram pickup truck on leg day last month.
The 6’9″ Haftor and 5’2″ Kelsey got married October of 2018 after dating for a year and he of course lifted her.
