Actress Hayden Panettiere, who starred in “Remember the Titans” and the TV series “Heroes” has died, at 36 years od.
Panetierre’s father released a statement to ABC News.
“It is with profound sadness that we share the tragic passing of our beloved Hayden. She was an incredible light and a force of nature who brought immeasurable love and joy to all who knew her — and to the millions who watched her onscreen,” her father, Skip Panettiere, said in a statement.
Her father asked for privacy “as our family takes time to process this unimaginable loss.”
As of now the family has not released a cause of death.
According to TMZ, Panettierre passed away early Sunday, after travelling from Los Angeles to the south. TMZ goes on to report that she had been complaining about back pain in the past year.

Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ … Hayden passed away earlier on Sunday. We’re told she and her on-again, off-again boyfriend Brian Hickerson flew from Los Angeles to the south on Saturday. Sources tell us Brian’s family is aware.
A source close to Hayden tells TMZ … she recently had been complaining about back pain in the past year.
Fans on social media mourned Panettierre’s death.
