While starring in the Marvel Cinematic Universe would mark the pinnacle of most actresses’ careers, that certainly isn’t the case for MCU alum Hayley Atwell, who will almost certainly be reaching another level of fame following the release of Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One in a few weeks.
One of the new additions to the acclaimed action franchise, early reviews of the film — which I saw last night and absolutely loved — have singled-out Atwell’s Grace as being the movie’s scene-stealer. Given Atwell’s combo of acting talent and movie star looks, perhaps that should come as no surprise.
In fact, one character in Dead Reckoning Part One even comments that she’s “hard to miss,” which is exactly what she’s been doing while embarking on the global press tour for the film in recent weeks.

Atwell, who made her first MCU appearance as Peggy Carter in 2011’s Captain America: The First Avenger and also recently appeared as Captain Carter in 2022’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, is also set to star in Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part Two, which is currently in production and is scheduled to release next summer.
Luckily for us, Atwell is also plenty active on Instagram where she currently has over 2 million followers, which is a number that will surely grow over the summer as Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One takes over movie theaters across the globe.
In addition to Atwell and Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt, Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One stars Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Vanessa Kirby, Ving Rhames, Pom Klementieff, Esai Morales, Shea Whigam, and more.
