Howard Stern’s former executive assistant is suing him and his wife, Beth, for a huge amount of money in damages, according to court documents.
Stern’s former executive assistant Leslie Kuhn claims in her lawsuit that the SiriusXM host and his wife used “questionable business operations and accounting practices” while she worked for them. The former assistant also claims the Sterns terminated her employment her due to a “hostile work environment.”
How much money is Howard Stern’s former assistant seeking?
Now, court documents filed this past Sunday and obtained by Page Six reveal the amount of money Kuhn is seeking. At first, reports vaguely stated that Leslie Kuhn was seeking declaratory relief.
In December 2025, Kuhn claims she received a letter from Howard Stern’s production company stating that she would receive an increase to $265,000 and a $80,000 bonus in 2026. She has now revealed that she is seeking $2.5 million in relief.
Kuhn claims in her lawsuit that she was also fired by the Sterns because of “immense pressures on the household created by irresponsible and untenable animal rescue and fostering operations occurring on-site, and massively disorganized and questionable business operations and accounting practices.”
Stern’s former assistant wants a judge to throw out a confidentiality agreement
She also claims that the couple wanted her to sign a nondisclosure agreement (NDA), but she never did. Kuhn says it only contains typewritten names “in the same font style and size used to identify the parties’ names in the recitals of the agreement.” She says the NDA and a confidentiality agreement are preventing her from discussing her job and the reasons behind her “manufactured” termination.
“Kuhn fully intends to disclose details concerning the facts surrounding her employment,” Kuhn’s attorney, John J. Leonard, wrote in the initial complaint.
Leonard told Page Six last week that Kuhn “understands this is the road that you’re on when you speak truth to power and when you try to assert your rights against someone who is exceptionally more powerful than you are.”
According to the latest court filing, Howard Stern and his wife have yet to respond to Kuhn’s lawsuit.
