“JaJa” is the Spanish word for “HaHa” and it makes sense that this tequila is all about the lols because it comes from Elliot Tebele, better known as F*ck Jerry. The massively popular Instagram account that is an absolute meme factory and has nearly 14 million followers, is now in the drink business with his own tequila brand because what good is a social media empire if you can’t profit off of it?

JAJA Tequila offers a blanco and reposado tequila, both are made from 100% Pure Blue Weber Agave and triple-distilled. Given the choice, I preferred the reposado because it was sweeter and smoother than the blanco. The reposado expression is aged in oak barrels for six months to give it hints of vanilla, caramel, and some spice, but it isn’t quite as spicy as his memes. While I wouldn’t consider these to be sipping tequilas, they are fine for margaritas and cocktails. The blanco retails for $39.95 and the reposado goes for $49.95. Just in time for National Tequila Day.
